Founder & Director, Arkvana

Arkvana is led by Yogeshwaran P, a visionary leader whose career is defined by the intersection of industrial engineering and the delicate science of child development. He began his career as a Mechanical Engineer, spending years optimising complex systems for global organisations, including Honeywell, Hyundai and Accenture. In those environments, he learned something that most educators never do: how to build institutions that actually work. Not just classrooms — but governance structures, compliance frameworks, operational playbooks, and financial models that hold together long after founding energy fades.

Then came Montessori.

What started as curiosity about child development became a deep, practitioner-level conviction. He earned his AMI Diploma — one of the most rigorous credentials in progressive education globally — and completed Montessori Sports Fundamentals, further extending his understanding of how children develop through movement and play.

These are not two separate chapters. They are the two pillars on which Arkvana stands.

Before founding Arkvana, Yogeshwaran served as Head of Schools and Director across Gardenia and Vruksha International school of Montessori -chain of Montessori schools— two institutions where he held responsibility for both pedagogical integrity and operational performance simultaneously.As a PRINCE2 Certified Practitioner and Agile (PSM-1) professional, Yogeshwaran applies world-class project and operations management to school leadership — an intersection that is genuinely rare in Indian education.

Everything above — the engineering background, the AMI training, the operational experience — would mean little without what sits at the centre of it all.

Yogeshwaran genuinely believes that children are not problems to be managed or vessels to be filled. They are people — with dignity, curiosity, and an innate drive to understand the world around them. His job, and the job of every person at Arkvana, is simply to get out of their way and prepare the conditions for that drive to flourish.

This is not a philosophy adopted for marketing. It is a conviction formed through years of observation, training, and the quiet privilege of watching children do extraordinary things when they are trusted.
